Ingredients

  • 700 g sweet potatoes approx. 170g/6oz each
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pinch sea salt
  • 2 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 2 tablespoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 190°C/375°F.
  2. Peel and cut 700 g Sweet potatoes into 1 inch cubes.
  3. Put the cubes into a large bowl with 2 tablespoon Olive oil, 2 pinch Sea salt, 2 pinch Ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon Garlic granules2 tablespoon Paprika and mix well.
  4. Put the potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes.
  5. Shake halfway through cooking.

Notes

  • Cut the sweet potatoes into evenly sized cubes to ensure they cook at the same rate.
  • After cutting the sweet potatoes, pat them dry with a paper towel before tossing them with oil. This helps them crisp up better in the air fryer.
  • Make sure you preheat your air fryer first, so the sweet potato chunks start cooking straight away, this will help reduce cooking time.
  • Cooking the cubes in a single layer will help them get crispy. If necessary, cook in batches.
  • Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Shaking the basket halfway through cooking ensures that all sides get evenly browned.
  • You will know that they are done when they’re crispy on the outside and fork-tender on the inside.
