Air Fryer Tandoori Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (500g) boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup PLAIN yogurt
  • 3 garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 tsp crushed ginger
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all the marinade ingredients together and add the chicken.
  2. Allow to marinade for at least 30 minutes up to 12 hours covered in the fridge.
  3. Spray the air fryer basket with oil/non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Air fry at 400°F/205°C(or as hot as your oven goes) for 25 minutes, flipping the chicken over half way through cooking.
  6. Serve the Tandoori chicken with naan bread, rice and cucumber salad.
