Air Fryer Taquitos with beans and cheese are delicious and so easy to make. You can make them ahead of time and then place them in the fryer for 10 minutes to have a great appetizer, snack, or dinner.

Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 can pinto beans 14 - 16 ounces
  • 1 small onion - chopped
  • 1 tablespoon taco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • garlic salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • cheddar jack cheese shredded
  • 5 - 6 flour tortillas

  1. In a heavy saucepan, add beans, onion, taco sauce, chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, pepper, and brown sugar.
  2. Stir, bring to a boil, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Mash the beans until they're smooth.
  5. Heat the tortillas in the microwave for 10 seconds.
  6. Spread bean mixture on tortillas and sprinkle with cheese, then roll tightly.
  7. Place in the freezer for 2 hours.
  8. Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 350. Taquito's should be golden brown.
  9. Sprinkle with parsley (optional) and serve with salsa or taco sauce.

Notes

  • Recipe can be easily doubled for additional servings.
