Air Fryer Tomatoes

Juicy, flavourful, and absolutely delicious air fryer tomatoes!

Ingredients

  • 1 pint grape tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, but recommended

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to an oven-safe dish that will fit inside your air frying basket. Mix well to evenly coat the tomatoes, and place the dish inside your basket.
  2. Air fry at 375℉/190℃ for 8-10 minutes, or until the tomato skins appear wrinkled, mixing once at the halfway point, then remove the dish from the fryer.
  3. Enjoy on toast, as a side dish, or as a topping for burgers.

Notes

  • Experiment with different tomato varieties. You may also use tomato slices for large format ones like beefsteak.
  • Different models will cook at different speeds, so make sure to watch your tomatoes carefully and start checking on them around the 5-minute mark.
  • Leftovers keep refrigerated for 3-4 days.
