Ingredients

  • 5 corn tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt or to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 360°F.
  2. While the air fryer is preheating, take a sharp knife or a pizza cutter and slice the corn tortillas into wedges. You can mimic the triangular shape of traditional tortilla chips, aiming for 6 to 8 wedges per tortilla.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and sea salt and brush each tortilla wedge lightly on both sides.
  4. Arrange the oiled tortilla wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd it, to allow even air circulation. If your air fryer is too small, work in batches.
  5. Cook the tortilla chips for 4-6 minutes. They can go from perfectly crisp to overcooked very quickly, so keep an eye on them and take them out when they reach your desired level of crunchiness.
  6. Carefully remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool slightly—they will continue to crisp up as they cool.
