Ingredients

  • 16 ounces raw almonds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread the almonds on a large baking sheet and toast for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  2. Allow the toasted almonds to cool until they are just warm, about 10 minutes.
  3. Transfer the warm almonds to a high-speed blender or food processor. Process until the almonds transform from coarse crumbs to a smooth, creamy butter, scraping down the sides as needed. This process may take several minutes.
  4. Once smooth, add the salt and blend briefly to distribute evenly. Transfer the almond butter to a clean jar and seal tightly.
