Ingredients

  • 4 cups amla 10-12 amla pieces, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon black salt adjust
  • 1 cup water adjust
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup optional
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash the fresh amla and dry them with a kitchen towel. Roughly chop them into small pieces and remove the seed.
  2. In a blender, add chopped amla and a little water (as needed) and blend to make a smooth paste.
  3. Use a muslin cloth or a fine-mesh strainer to discard the amla pulp with the back of the spoon and get the juice in a large bowl.
  4. Add black salt, black pepper, and maple syrup, and give it a good mix. Amla juice is ready. Serve fresh!

Notes

  • Serve the amla shots immediately and consume them fresh. I don't recommend storing this juice. Having up to 20ml amla juice daily is fine. Consuming more amount than recommended can have side effects- acidity, digestive issues.
