Apple And Kale Smoothie Recipe

This Apple and Kale Smoothie blends the tartness of green apple, such as Granny Smith, with fresh kale leaves and the subtle sweetness of coconut water. Honey can be added optionally to adjust sweetness based on taste. The smoothie is blended until smooth, delivering a refreshing and nutrient-rich drink with a balance of crisp apple flavor and leafy greens.

Ingredients

  • 1 green apple I use granny smith.
  • kale leaves a handful
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional, clear

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash and core the apple and cut it in chunks. 
  2. Wash and rinse the kale leaves.
  3. Place the apple chunks, kale leaves, coconut water and honey (if using) in a blender.
  4. Blitz it for a minute or two until everything is blended and smooth.

Notes

  • Choose apple varieties based on desired sweetness; tart apples may require less or no honey.
  • Add honey after blending to adjust sweetness to your taste after tasting the smoothie.
