Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 Granny Smith apples , chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x5 loaf pan with baking spray.
- In a stand mixer cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until lightened in color.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, then add in the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cloves in a medium bowl.
- Add the flour mixture into the butter on low speed until just combined, then fold in the apples with a spatula.
- Pour into loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes then let cool for 20 minutes before removing from loaf pan.
- Cool completely before slicing.
