Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 1 orange
- 1 pear
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 4 whole cloves
- 4 star anise pods
- 750 ml red wine 1 bottle; we used Cabernet Sauvignon
- 2 cups apple cider
Instructions
- Cut the apple, orange, and pear into thin slices.
- In the bottom of a pitcher, toss the fruit slices with the brown sugar. Let sit for at least an hour at room temperature to release juices.
- Add in the cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise pods, bottled wine, and apple cider. Stir well.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
