Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl

This apple pie smoothie bowl tastes just like apple pie without all the calories found in the traditional dessert. It's topped with fresh-cut apples, apple pie spice, granola, chia seeds, and dried cranberries. This is the perfect way to start your day!

Ingredients

For smoothie:
  • 1-1/2 apples cored and quartered
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice
For topping:
  • 1/2 apple small diced
  • 1/2 cup granola
  • 4 tablespoons dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice

Instructions

For smoothie:
    Cup of Yum
  1. In a high-powered blender (I used my Vitamix) add apples, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and apple pie spice.
  2. Start off blending your mixture slowly and once it starts to break up slowly blend faster until the mixture is completely smooth. if the mixture is too thick add in a little more almond milk until you have reached desired consistency.
  3. Pour your smoothie into 2 bowls and top with desired toppings.
For topping:
  1. Add half the apples, 1/4 cup granola, 2 tablespoons dried cranberries, 2 teaspoons chia seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice to the top of each smoothie bowl.
