Apple Smoothie

This apple smoothie tastes like an apple crisp! Fresh apples, banana, oatmeal, and spices make a decadently healthy smoothie that tastes like dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple peeled or unpeeled, diced
  • 1 medium banana ripe
  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats large flake
  • 1/2 cup milk almond milk or oat milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 6-8 large ice cubes

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the apples, banana, yogurt, oatmeal, milk, syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg in a blender.
  2. Place the lid on the blender tightly and then pulse until the mixture is liquefied.
  3. Add in the ice cubes one at a time until you have reached the desired consistency for your smoothie.
  4. Split between two glasses and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use a frozen banana or fresh,  just make sure it's really ripe so that it sweetens the smoothie.
