Apple Smoothie
This apple smoothie tastes like an apple crisp! Fresh apples, banana, oatmeal, and spices make a decadently healthy smoothie that tastes like dessert!
Ingredients
- 2 cups apple peeled or unpeeled, diced
- 1 medium banana ripe
- ½ cup vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup rolled oats large flake
- 1/2 cup milk almond milk or oat milk
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg
- 6-8 large ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the apples, banana, yogurt, oatmeal, milk, syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg in a blender.
- Place the lid on the blender tightly and then pulse until the mixture is liquefied.
- Add in the ice cubes one at a time until you have reached the desired consistency for your smoothie.
- Split between two glasses and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use a frozen banana or fresh, just make sure it's really ripe so that it sweetens the smoothie.
