Artichoke Dip Phyllo Cups
Artichoke Dip Phyllo Cups combine tender artichoke hearts, garlic, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and melted mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses to create a creamy, savory filling. This mixture is baked in crispy phyllo dough cups until hot and golden, making easy-to-eat, flavorful appetizers with a balance of richness and crisp texture.
Ingredients
- 30 phyllo dough shells 2 packages, frozen
- ¾ cup artichoke hearts approx. half a 14 oz can, water-packed, canned/jarred
- 1 clove garlic (peeled, smashed, and minced)
- 4 oz cream cheese , softened
- ¼ cup mayonnaise quality
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
- 2-3 TBSP green onion fresh chopped; aka scallions
- 1/4-1/2 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ⅛ tsp red pepper flakes crushed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 365°F and arrange phyllo cups on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Finely chop artichokes. Peel, smash, and mince garlic.
- In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix well using an electric hand mixer or a fork until igredients are well incorporated.
- Spoon filling mixture into phyllo cups and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the filling is hot and melty and the phyllo shell is crispy.
- Optional garnishes include additional crushed red pepper flakes and/or scallions, or fresh snipped chives.
Notes
- Phyllo cups can be assembled ahead and stored frozen until ready to bake.
- Reheat baked cups briefly to restore crispiness if prepared in advance.
