Ingredients

Buns
  • 50 ml milk warm, 3 tbsp
  • 7 gms active dry yeast 1 tbsp
  • 2 ½ tbsp sugar
  • 2 egg 1 for the dough and 1 for brushing the buns’ tops
  • 420 gms flour 3 cups
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 35 gms butter softened, 2 ½ tbsp
  • 240 ml water lukewarm, 1 cup
  • sesame seeds
Asian Chicken Patties
  • 500 gms ground chicken 1.1 lbs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ tbsp lemongrass paste
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tbsp water
  • ½ tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 spring onions thinly sliced
  • salt
  • black pepper
Sriracha Mayo
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1 pinch salt
To Assemble
  • chicken patties Asian style
  • mayonnaise with sriracha
  • Buns
  • tomato sliced
  • lettuce
  • red onion slices
  • vegetable oil to cook patties

Notes

  • The above ingredients for the buns will make about 15 slider sized buns. You can easily freeze the extra buns by putting them into a Ziploc bag and have them ready for more sliders!
