Avocado Crema

This avocado crema is the perfect topping for your favorite Mexican foods like tacos, nachos and burritos. Made with a handful of fresh ingredients, it takes 5 minutes to make and is a great way to add creamy flavor to so many dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado peeled and seed removed
  • 2 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tablespoon sour cream

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a small food processor.
  2. Serve with tacos, nachos, or anything else you like to top with avocado cream sauce.

Notes

  • The quickest way to make this avocado crema is in a food processor, but if you don't have one you can chop and mash everything by hand and mix to combine. It will take a little longer, but it will still be good.
  • Make sure you avocado is ripe before you use it. If it is not ripe it won't combine as easily.
