Avocado Crema combines ripe avocado with Mexican crema, lime juice, salt, and pepper to create a smooth, tangy sauce. Ingredients
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup Mexican crema
- lime juice of 1
- salt sea salt and fresh cracked, to taste
- black pepper sea salt and fresh cracked, to taste
Instructions
- Add the peeled and seeded avocado to a large bowl and mash using a hand masher.
- Next, add in the crema, lime juice, salt, and pepper and mix until combined. Serve or cover and keep cool.
Notes
- Make the crema up to two days ahead for convenience and flavor melding.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for three to five days to maintain freshness.
- Adjust acidity by varying the amount of lime juice to your preference.
- Add two tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro for added lemon-lime flavor.
