Avocado Dip Recipe
This avocado dip is made with ripe avocados, cilantro, lime juice, jalapeno and sour cream, all blended together to make a creamy dip. Serve your avocado dip with chips, crackers or veggies for a light and simple party snack.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups avocado sliced
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons Jalapeño seeds and ribs removed, then coarsely chopped
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- cilantro leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Place the avocado, cilantro leaves, lime juice, jalapeno, sour cream, salt, cumin and garlic powder in the bowl of a food processor.
- Process until completely smooth, 1-2 minutes. Taste and add more salt if desired.
- Garnish with cilantro leaves, then serve.

Notes
- This dip is best served right after it's made as the avocado will brown over an extended period of time.
- You can make this a chunky dip by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and crushing them together with a fork or potato masher.
- This dip is on the mild end of the heat scale because the seeds and ribs are removed from the jalapenos. If you prefer a spicy dip, leave some of the seeds and ribs in the pepper.
