Avocado Mousse

This vegan avocado mousse is a creamy and deliciously chocolatey dessert made with 6 wholesome plant-based ingredients. Kid-approved and easy to make in 5 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ cup + 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or agave
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of plant-based milk

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Don’t omit the salt! It ties all of the flavors together, giving you a perfectly balanced dessert.
  • Adjust the flavor after blending: Add more cocoa powder or a pinch of espresso powder for a deeper chocolate flavor, an extra drizzle of maple syrup or vanilla extract for sweetness, or another pinch of salt to round out the flavor profile.
  • Let the pudding chill: Place the pudding in the fridge and let it sit for about an hour before serving to give the flavors time to develop and the consistency time to thicken.
