Avocado Toast (Recipe & Toppings)
Here's how to make avocado toast using the easiest method, along with my favorite toppings!
Ingredients
- 2 lices bread
- 1/2 avocado
- salt
- lemon juice
Additional Topping Ideas:
- tomato sliced
- everything bagel seasoning
- egg fried
- tomato
- eggplant
- zucchini roasted
- sweet potato roasted
- chive
- smoked salmon
- green onion sliced
- cucumber sliced
Instructions
- Toast the bread until crispy. Peel and slice the avocado into thin strips, then arrange the avocado slices on to each piece of toast. (I like to use 1/4 of an avocado per piece of toast.)
- Use a fork to mash the avocado directly on the toast, then season with lemon juice and salt, if desired. Top with additional toppings, if desired, and serve right away.
