Avocado Toast (Recipe & Toppings)

Here's how to make avocado toast using the easiest method, along with my favorite toppings!

Ingredients

  • 2 lices bread
  • 1/2 avocado
  • salt
  • lemon juice
Additional Topping Ideas:
  • tomato sliced
  • everything bagel seasoning
  • egg fried
  • tomato
  • eggplant
  • zucchini roasted
  • sweet potato roasted
  • chive
  • smoked salmon
  • green onion sliced
  • cucumber sliced

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Toast the bread until crispy. Peel and slice the avocado into thin strips, then arrange the avocado slices on to each piece of toast. (I like to use 1/4 of an avocado per piece of toast.)
  2. Use a fork to mash the avocado directly on the toast, then season with lemon juice and salt, if desired. Top with additional toppings, if desired, and serve right away.
