Award Winning Banana Bread
Treat yourself with a slice of thick, rich, and moist banana bread. This is the easiest way to make it! It's full of flavor and always a hit with the family.
Ingredients
- 3 banana about 1 cup, ripe, mashed
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 large egg beaten
- pinch salt
- 1 and 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts optional, chopped
Instructions
- Mix together with a spatula or wooden spoon (all ingredients) banana, baking soda, oil, sugar, eggs, salt and flour in a large mixing bowl.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts if using.
- Pour in a greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
