Bacon Deviled Eggs - Deviled Eggs with Bacon

Bacon Deviled Eggs combine creamy mashed yolks blended with mayonnaise, pickle relish, and Dijon mustard, spooned into halved hard-boiled egg whites, and topped with crisp bacon bits and fresh chives. The result is a rich, savory appetizer with smoky accents and a hint of tanginess from the relish and mustard.

Ingredients

  • 6 egg cooled and peeled, hard boiled
  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 lices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon chives finely diced

Instructions

  1. Slice the hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolk to a small bowl with a spoon and place the egg whites on a plate.
  2. Mash the yolks with a fork and add the mayonnaise, pickle relish, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir everything together until it's creamy.
  3. Use a spoon to add a portion of the deviled egg mixture back into the hole of each egg white.
  4. Garnish with a generous amount of bacon bits and top with a sprinkle of chives.

Notes

  • Use Dijon mustard over yellow for more depth in flavor.
  • Try piping the yolk mixture into egg whites for a cleaner look.
  • Watch deviled egg preparation videos to easily separate yolks from whites.
  • This recipe's Dijon mustard is compliant with Whole30 if you follow that diet.
