Bacon Deviled Eggs - Deviled Eggs with Bacon

Bacon Deviled Eggs combine creamy mashed yolks blended with mayonnaise, pickle relish, and Dijon mustard, spooned into halved hard-boiled egg whites, and topped with crisp bacon bits and fresh chives. The result is a rich, savory appetizer with smoky accents and a hint of tanginess from the relish and mustard.

Description

This recipe instructs to slice hard-boiled eggs lengthwise, removing yolks to mash with mayonnaise, pickle relish, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until creamy. The mixture is returned to the egg whites by spoonfuls, then generously topped with crumbled cooked bacon and finely diced chives for freshness and texture contrast.

The mustard choice emphasizes Dijon for its more complex flavor compared to yellow mustard, adding depth. The bacon adds smoky crispness that enhances the smooth filling. This classic deviled egg variation makes a flavorful, sturdy appetizer suitable for parties or casual meals. Optionally, the yolk filling can be piped into the whites for neater presentation.
