Ingredients
- 1 lb thin bacon slices
- 1 lb asparagus woody ends trimmed and washed
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a rack on it.
- Season asparagus with salt and pepper. Wrap 3-4 asparagus stalks with a piece of bacon in a bundle. Repeat with remaining asparagus.
- Place asparagus bundles on the rack in the baking sheet, and bake in the preheated oven for 15 - 17 minutes, until bacon is crisp.

Notes
- This recipe is delicious as it is, but if you like, you can drizzle over some maple syrup or brown sugar before baking for a sweet and salty bite.
- Use thin bacon for this recipe otherwise, the bacon will not be cooked through and crispy when the asparagus is ready.
