Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies Recipe

Quick and easy little smokies sausages wrapped in crispy baked bacon.

Ingredients

  • 16 lices Bacon thin cut, *see notes
  • 48 little smokies
  • 48 Toothpicks

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit/ 180° Celsius.
  2. Cut bacon slices into three same-sized pieces.
  3. Place on each bacon piece a little smokie sausage and roll it in.
  4. Secure with a toothpick. (to serve as an appetizer or skip toothpick if you intend to serve as a dinner dish).
  5. Place bacon wrapped sausages on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake until crisp and golden at 350° Fahrenheit/ 180° Celsius. Mine took about 10 minutes, your's might take longer as it depends on the quality and the fat content in your bacon.
  7. Serve still warm with a cold dipping sauce.

Notes

  • My bacon slices are thin cut slices. About 6.7 inches/ 17 centimeters long and 1½ inch/ 4 centimeters broad. Yours might be larger or smaller so you will need to adjust the quantit if that is the case.
