Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bacon , cut in half
  • 2 pounds Shrimp , peeled and deveined (13-15 count)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter , melted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar , packed
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet par-cook the bacon about halfway, about 3 minutes on each side. The bacon should be soft and easy to wrap around shrimp still, if it is crispy it won't wrap when it cools and will overcook in the oven.
  3. Remove from the pan and let cool.
  4. In a large bowl add the shrimp, melted butter, brown sugar, salt, paprika and black pepper.
  5. Mix together well then take each shrimp, wrap with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  6. Place the shrimp onto your baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
