Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bacon center cut
  • 1 (14 ounce) package little smokies
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • maple syrup to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the bacon into halves or thirds.
  2.  Wrap each Little Smokie with a piece of bacon. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. Place the wrapped Little Smokies on the lined baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar. Drizzle a little maple syrup over all the smokies once they are covered in brown sugar.
  4. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the sugar is bubbly and brown.
  5. To serve, put all the wrapped smokies in a slow cooker on low and add a little more maple syrup. Stir well so each Smokie is coated with the sugary glaze.
