Baked Apple Slices

Baked Apple Slices combine thinly sliced peeled apples with melted butter, sugars, cinnamon, salt, and cornstarch, baked until soft and caramelized. The mixture yields tender, jammy apples with a buttery cinnamon flavor that can be enjoyed as a dessert or as a complement to savory dishes. Stirring during baking ensures even caramelization and texture.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days; they freeze well for two months.
