- 12 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet with foil and brush it with olive oil.
- In a large bowl, mix together olive oil and seasonings. Pat drumsticks dry using paper towels then add them and toss to coat evenly.
- Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the drumsticks from the oven, brush them generously with barbecue sauce, and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
