Baked Brie with Jam
Baked Brie with Jam features a wheel of Brie cheese softened in the oven until just melted inside while retaining its shape. It is topped with honey, cranberry sauce, chopped pecans, and fresh rosemary, combining sweet, tart, nutty, and herbal flavors. The creamy, soft texture of Brie contrasts with the crunchy pecans and the jam’s tang. Served warm, it offers a rich and elegant appetizer option paired with crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices for dipping.
Ingredients
- 8 ounce Brie cheese wheel
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup pecans chopped
- rosemary fresh
- Cracker sliced, for dipping
- apple
- baguette
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Use a sharp knife to score the top of the brie. Place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, or a small casserole dish.
- Top with honey, cranberry sauce, pecans, and fresh rosemary.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. The cheese should be soft, but not completely melted out of shape. Move to a serving platter and serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve the baked Brie immediately to enjoy the soft, dippable texture before it firms up.
- Prepare dipping items such as apple slices, crackers, and sliced baguette in advance for convenience.
- The rind stabilizes the cheese during baking; you may remove only the top rind, leaving sides and bottom intact.
