Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds bone-in chicken wings I used both wings and drumsticks
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
lemon pepper sauce
- 6 tablespoons butter melted
- ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
- Juice from ½ lemon about 3 tablespoons
- 2 teaspoons honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a cooling rack on top of the foil.
- Arrange chicken wings in a single layer (not touching) and brush with olive oil on both sides. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Bake for 25-35 minutes until crispy.
- Whisk together butter, honey, cracked black pepper, and lemon juice. Brush onto chicken wings. Serve immediately.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- This recipe as written makes 1.5 pounds chicken wings - for me this was about 16 wings. At 2-4 wings each, this would serve 4-6 people as an appetizer.
