Baked Oats {easy blender recipe!}
Baked Oats made in a blender combine rolled oats, banana, egg, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla, honey, and milk into a smooth batter baked until set. This recipe yields a moist and tender baked oatmeal with subtle sweetness and gentle spice from cinnamon, suitable for warm breakfasts or snacks. Small ramekins create individual portions, topped optionally with fruits or nuts for added texture.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk full fat, low-fat, almond, or milk of choice
- 1 banana
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- Pinch salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375F. Combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend for 1 minute.
- Pour batter into 2-3 small ramekins or double and bake in a large 9x13 casserole dish. Top with chocolate chips, nuts, berries if desired.
- Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle with honey, almond butter, or peanut butter if desired. Enjoy Warm!
