Baked Oats {easy blender recipe!}
Description
The Baked Oats recipe blends rolled oats with banana, an egg, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, honey, and milk into a uniform batter. This blend is poured into small ramekins or one casserole dish and baked at 375°F for about 30 minutes until the oats hold together with a soft, slightly firm texture.
The banana adds natural sweetness and moisture, while cinnamon and vanilla contribute gentle aromatic warmth. Baking powder leavens slightly, lending a light rise to the oats, preventing a dense texture. The result is a warm, comforting dish with a creamy interior and a lightly browned top.
Optional toppings like chocolate chips, nuts, or berries can be added before baking to vary texture and flavor, and drizzling additional honey or nut butters after baking enhances richness. This baked oats dish is a satisfying, handheld breakfast or snack that can be prepared ahead and enjoyed warm.
