Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 4 ounces salami slices

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the dip: In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and hot pepper sauce. Set aside.
  3. Arrange the salami slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake until the edges curl, 12-14 minutes. The salami slices will still be pliable at this point.
  4. Transfer the chips to paper towels. Allow them to cool for 10 minutes. They will crisp up as they cool.
  5. Serve the chips with the dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount and type of hot pepper sauce in the dip to suit your heat preference; start with less and add more after tasting.
  • Salami chips can be made in the microwave by placing slices between paper towels and microwaving in short intervals until crispy.
