Balsamic Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Balsamic Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin is an easy, pressure-cooked pork dish with a sauce combining brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and seasonings. The pork tenderloin cooks quickly under pressure then is sliced and coated with the tangy-sweet glaze made from the cooking liquid, creating tender, flavorful meat.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place pork tenderloin in the instant pot.
  2. Whisk together all the other ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  3. Pour this mixture over the top of the pork tenderloin in the instant pot.
  4. Add the lid and set to sealing.
  5. Press the manual button and set the pressure to 12 minutes (based on the size of your pork tenderloin).
  6. Once cooking cycle is done, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes before releasing the steam.
  7. Remove the the pork tenderloin from the crock pot and slice.
  8. Brush or drizzle the pork tenderloin with the sauce from the instant pot and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For thicker sauce, remove pork and switch Instant Pot to sauté mode.
  • Whisk 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and stir into sauce.
  • Cook until sauce thickens to preferred consistency before serving.
