Balsamic Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin Recipe
Balsamic Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin is an easy, pressure-cooked pork dish with a sauce combining brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and seasonings. The pork tenderloin cooks quickly under pressure then is sliced and coated with the tangy-sweet glaze made from the cooking liquid, creating tender, flavorful meat.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. pork tenderloin
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place pork tenderloin in the instant pot.
- Whisk together all the other ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
- Pour this mixture over the top of the pork tenderloin in the instant pot.
- Add the lid and set to sealing.
- Press the manual button and set the pressure to 12 minutes (based on the size of your pork tenderloin).
- Once cooking cycle is done, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes before releasing the steam.
- Remove the the pork tenderloin from the crock pot and slice.
- Brush or drizzle the pork tenderloin with the sauce from the instant pot and serve immediately.
Notes
- For thicker sauce, remove pork and switch Instant Pot to sauté mode.
- Whisk 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and stir into sauce.
- Cook until sauce thickens to preferred consistency before serving.
