Balsamic Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin Recipe
Description
This recipe centers on a pork tenderloin cooked whole in an Instant Pot with a sauce blend of brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and water. The meat is seasoned and cooked under high pressure for about 12 minutes, yielding juicy and tender pork.
After natural pressure release, the tenderloin is removed and sliced. The remaining cooking liquid, enriched with vinegar and soy flavors, can be thickened by adding a cornstarch slurry on the sauté setting to create a glossy sauce. This sauce is then brushed or drizzled over the sliced pork to enhance its flavor and provide moisture.
The dish serves well as a main course, accompanied by sides that balance its sweet-savory glaze. Because the pork cooks in a sealed environment, it retains moisture and absorbs the saucy notes effectively.
According to the notes, the sauce can be thickened after cooking by using a cornstarch-water slurry and heating until desired consistency. This flexibility allows adjusting the sauce texture before serving.
