Ingredients

  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine the balsamic vinegar, sugar, honey, salt, and pepper in a medium saucepan.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and allow the mixture to simmer for 10-15 minutes or until it has thickened to a syrup-like consistency.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the glaze to cool to room temperature.
  5. Use the glaze as a drizzle for meats, fruits, or vegetables, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later use.

Notes

  • The cooking time may vary depending on the desired consistency of the glaze. If you prefer a thicker glaze, simmer the mixture for a more extended period. If you prefer a thinner glaze, remove it from heat sooner.
