Banana Cabana
The Banana Cabana is a creamy blended cocktail featuring cream of coconut, Baileys Irish cream, Kahlúa, white or dark rum, and ripe banana with crushed ice. The drink is smooth and rich, highlighted by the tropical sweetness of banana and coconut combined with the creamy and coffee-flavored liqueurs. It is served chilled and often garnished with sliced banana and a sprinkle of nutmeg for extra aroma.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons cream of coconut brand Coco Lopez
- ¼ cup Baileys Irish cream
- 1 tablespoon Kahlúa
- 1 tablespoon white rum (can use dark rum also)
- 1 banana very ripe
- 1 ½ cups ice crushed
- pinch nutmeg
- banana a few slices; for garnish
Instructions
- Into a heavy duty blender add the ingredients in this order: Coco Lopez, Baileys Irish Cream, Kahlua, rum, banana and ice.
- Blend until the ice is thoroughly blended into the drink and there are no more chunks. Should be smooth and creamy.
- Pour into serving glasses and garnish with a pinch of nutmeg and sliced banana if desired. Tropical umbrellas optional!
