Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup about 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups self-rising all purpose flour
- 2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a medium bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add bananas and vanilla.
- Gradually add flour to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from sheets and cool on a wire rack.

- This recipe can be halved. I froze half of the batter to have fresh cookies another day.
