Ingredients

  • 4-5 Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 6 whole almonds
  • 1 teaspoon desiccated coconut
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend well till everything is well incorporated and smooth. You will have a dense and creamy smoothie.
  3. Pour in a glass. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon powder and enjoy cold!

Notes

  • Use frozen bananas for a thicker consistency.
  • You can add a sweetener of your choice like honey, maple syrup or brown sugar if the smoothie is not sweet enough for you.

  • Medjool dates are exceptionally soft and blend effortlessly. If you're using any other variety that is a bit dry, I suggest soaking them beforehand.
