Banana Date Smoothie

This Banana Date smoothie uses frozen bananas, dates, nutty almond butter, warm cardamom, & creamy almond milk - this shake will keep you full all day!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas frozen
  • 4 dates pitted
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender in the order of appearance.
  2. Blend the ingredients in a high-speed blender for 2-3 minutes until you get a smooth and creamy texture.
  3. Taste the smoothie, adding more almond milk if it is too thick or adding a sweetener of choice if it’s not sweet enough for you.
  4. Pour into a cup or mason jar. Enjoy cold immediately, or store in fridge for up to 12 hours.

Notes

  • For the smoothest smoothie, make sure you use a high-powered commercial blender.
