This Fig Banana Smoothie has a wonderful, creamy taste, and delicious sweet flavor. Made with fresh or dried figs, ripe banana and milk, this smoothie is a refreshing nutritious breakfast or snack!

Ingredients

  • 4 figs halved
  • 1 banana
  • 3/4 cup milk chilled

  1. Place the figs, banana and milk in the blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Colder smoothie: If you would like a colder smoothie, freeze the banana before using in the recipe. 
  • No fresh figs: If fresh figs are not available, buy frozen figs. You can also use dried figs. If they are too hard, soak them in water for some time before blending.
  • Vegan Variation: To make this fig smoothie vegan, use almond milk.
