Banana Nut Bread

My recipe for Banana Nut Bread is full of flavor! It's quick, easy and certainly a family classic with minimal ingredients that is seriously addicting!

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbs butter softened
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2-3 large bananas
  • 1 ⅓ cup flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts + more for sprinkling on top

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Spray a 9"x5" loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.
  3. In bowl mash your bananas until smooth.
  4. In a large bowl beat together your butter and sugars until fluffy.
  5. Add in your eggs and bananas and beat until combined.
  6. In another bowl whisk together your flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients and with spoon or spatula fold together until moist.
  8. Lastly, fold in your nuts.
  9. Spoon into prepared baking dish and bake for 50-60 minutes until golden and center is done.
