Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
- 16 ounces Maraschino cherries drained and halved
- 20 ounces crushed pineapple well drained
- 2 large bananas sliced
- 8 ounces whipped topping thawed
- 1/2 cup Chopped peanuts or pecans
- chocolate syrup for topping
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add in the cream cheese. Beat with a hand mixer on medium speed until smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Add in the granulated sugar and maraschino cherry juice. Beat until creamy and combined.
- Add in the maraschino cherry halves and drained crushed pineapple. Mix until evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle the banana slices with fruit fresh or lemon juice to help prevent them from browning in the fluff.
- Add the banana slices and whipped topping to the cream cheese mixture. Fold in using a spatula until thoroughly combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Scoop and serve with chopped nuts and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
- Store covered in the refrigerator.
