Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion diced (about 3/4 cup)
- 1 can 28 oz diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained
- 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained
- 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tablespoons chili powder
- ½ Tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- In a large nonstick sauce pan, over medium heat, brown ground beef with onions. Cook until the beef is no longer pink.
- Add in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, tomato sauce, water, and seasonings (chili powder, cajun seasoning, salt and pepper). Stir to combine well.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for at least 20 minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.
