BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza

This BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza is a delicious way to use leftover pulled pork and makes a quick and easy family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pizza crust 1 pound
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup leftover pulled pork
  • 1/4 cup red onion
  • 1 poblano pepper
  • 1 Jalapeno pepper
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup queso fresco
  • 2 Tablespoons cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500 F.
  2. Slice the onion, jalapeno and poblano.
  3. Sprinkle a pizza pan or cookie sheet with cornmeal.
  4. Gently stretch or roll the pizza dough to fill the pizza pan.
  5. Top the pizza with the BBQ sauce, spreading it evenly all the way to the edges.
  6. Top the pizza with the pulled pork, red onion, poblano pepper pieces and jalapeno pieces.
  7. Sprinkle the pizza with cheddar cheese and then crumble the queso over the top.
  8. Sprinkle some chopped cilantro leaves.
  9. Bake at 500 F for 15 minutes until the pizza crust is golden brown. Or follow the baking instructions from your package of pizza dough.
  10. Let the pizza rest for 5 minutes before slicing and enjoying.

Notes

  • You could use BBQ chicken instead of pulled pork.
