Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 (15-ounce) can drained and rinsed black beans
- 6 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 (20.5-ounce) can refried beans, divided
- 10 small corn taco shells
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium-sized skillet brown 1 ½ pounds lean ground beefhe ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess oil if needed.
- Stir in 3 tablespoons taco seasoninghe taco seasoning, black beans, and tomato sauce. Let simmer for about 1 minute.
- Layer the taco shells in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Add about 2 tablespoons of the refried beans to the bottom of each shell. Add the ground beef mixture and divide evenly among the taco shells. Top with cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes until lightly brown and heated throughout. Top with favorite toppings.
