Best Clove Tea Recipe

This clove tea recipe is quick, easy, and both healthy and delicious. Enjoy it warm in winter or chilled over ice during summer.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1 tbsp honey see notes
  • 1 lice lemon optional

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a pot on the stove.
  2. Add the cloves and teabag to a teapot or heatproof container. Carefully pour the boiling water over the cloves in the teapot. Let it steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer the tea.
  3. Pour the clove tea into a cup. Sweeten with honey to taste and add a slice of lemon for extra flavor, if desired.
