Ingredients
- 6 lices bread slightly stale
- 3 tablespoons butter
EGG MIXTURE:
- 2 egg large
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
SERVING:
- maple syrup butter, fruits
Instructions
- Whisk together Egg Mixture in a bowl until smooth and well mixed.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Soak a piece of bread quickly into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Place in the pan. Repeat with more slices and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until the surface is golden, then transfer to serving plates.
- Add more butter into the pan and cook remaining bread slices.
- Serve with butter, maple syrup or fruits.
