Ingredients

  • 6 lices bread slightly stale
  • 3 tablespoons butter
EGG MIXTURE:
  • 2 egg large
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
SERVING:
  • maple syrup butter, fruits

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Whisk together Egg Mixture in a bowl until smooth and well mixed. 
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. 
  3. Soak a piece of bread quickly into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Place in the pan. Repeat with more slices and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until the surface is golden, then transfer to serving plates. 
  4. Add more butter into the pan and cook remaining bread slices. 
  5. Serve with butter, maple syrup or fruits.
