Ingredients
- 12 ounces grapefruit juice fresh squeezed is best, or try 100% juice, ruby red variety
- 8 ounces tequila silver
- 4 ounces lime juice fresh squeezed is best
- 2 ounces simple syrup may also use honey or agave
- 3 cups ice
Garnish
- grapefruit wedge for garnish, or slice of lime
- rosemary or basil, sprig
- salt or sugar, rimming
- 1/2 lime cut into quarters
Instructions
- Pour some margarita salt or sugar onto a shallow plate. Run a lime wedge along the rim of your glasses and dip it into the margarita salt or sugar. Set aside.
- Add grapefruit juice, tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to a blender.
- Blend for about 30 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and there are no more ice chunks. Pour into the prepared glasses and garnish with a grapefruit slice. Enjoy!
