Best Fudge Recipe without Condensed Milk Recipe

This simple fudge recipe is made without condensed milk. It’s sweet, creamy, chocolatey, and super easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 ½ cups white granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup full-fat evaporated milk
  • 7 oz marshmallow cream or marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Line an 8X8 inch square pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Add butter to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, spread the butter to coat the bottom of the pan.
  3. Slowly pour sugar into the center of the pan, and avoid getting sugar onto the side of your saucepan.
  4. Add evaporated milk, stirring constantly.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes or until a candy thermometer reaches about 234°F.
  6. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chocolate chips.
  7. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted.
  8. Add marshmallow cream and vanilla to the mixture. Mix well.
  9. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and let it cool to room temperature.
  10. Remove the settled fudge from the pan, and cut into smaller pieces. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not refrigerate the fudge. You can store it in an air-tight container at room temperature
